One of the things I&#039;ve seen while working for the military is how good leaders provide actionable direction, setting up people for success.  As one of the people occasionally on the blame line, I find it legitimately difficult to come up with a viable solutions – it’s always, always easier to criticize someone else’s actions than come up with another option (creative stress) and put myself in the position of being the next person to be criticized (ego stress).

		<description>Great post Ryan, but you have an important error.  TCU won the national championship in football in 1938 (according to the AP) and is recognized as the champion in 1935 (no official champion that year).  As such, this is not their highest ranking.</description>
