By Ryan Quinn
We’ve had some good news recently here at the Lift Blog, which I’d like to share with our readers.
First, our book, Lift: Becoming a Positive Force in Any Situation, has been selected as the book of the year by both the Huntsman School of Business and by Albemarle County Public Schools. We are excited to see people adopting and using principles from Lift in their life and work because our world needs more people to make a conscious choice to be positive forces in their work, home, communities, organizations, marketplaces, and societies.
Second, Bob Quinn, a professor at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and one of the co-authors of Lift, has recently returned home to Ann Arbor, Michigan after three years abroad and is now sufficiently acclimated that he is going to join us as one of the authors on the Lift Blog. This entry is an official introduction for him, and his first entry will follow immediately after this one. We hope you enjoy his work on the blog as well as in his many books and articles on leadership and change.
