This is such an interesting dilemma - thanks for writing about it! I think we often confuse &quot;time&quot; with other kinds of pressure, so &quot;I don&#039;t have time,&quot; is actually a way of saying that we are feeling a lot of pressure from something or someone and we don&#039;t have a good way of handling the pressure. 

We also sometimes confuse time with energy - as Jim Loehr&#039;s work shows, in books like The Power of Full Engagement.

And interestingly enough, Phil Zimbardo is now writing about time in psychology and the psychology of time! You might want to check out some of his new work.

I think we often confuse &#8220;time&#8221; with other kinds of pressure, so &#8220;I don&#8217;t have time,&#8221; is actually a way of saying that we are feeling a lot of pressure from something or someone and we don&#8217;t have a good way of handling the pressure. </p>
